ILLUSIONARY LOVE

Love is amazing
At times, it ignites feelings
At first sight; or perhaps takes a couple of days or years
To realize its intensity.
Ever ruminated that it can be an illusion too?

Two unknown souls meet to create an imprint
Only to last momentarily.
Mistrust fabricated the emotion;
Yet bloomed like a wildflower.

A mirage that both comprehended each other finely,
Connection bonds by hearts; distance trivial;
Truth unfolds to clarify –
The two are unexplored mazes.

Attachments align with expectations
Superfluity of one’s feelings –
Was nothing more but desperateness,
Certainty gave way to assumptions.

Courage felt timid;
Owing the intimacy to the world,
The perplexed relation
Engraved on the sands;
Cleansed into oblivion.

Disillusioned struck to –
Accept the incompletely complete tale;
The soul has to satisfy itself
With an unacknowledged promise.
