One out of millions,

We are Indians!

The two hundred years’ history of India

Is now not a mystery to the world.

The disunite policy, though, was atrocious;

Nevertheless, we emerged more ferocious.

Knowledge in our minds,

Ignorance in theirs.

Disparity was their persona, and

Solidarity was ours.

Non-violence is the supreme dharma, and

Righteousness is victory.

Fighters make freedom possible,

The martyred sons of India are infallible.

Their valor and courage was the cause of our liberation,

They were the reason for the end of our tribulation.

The once fallen and broken spirit –

Is now stronger than no other.

One out of millions,

We are Indians!
